Ramona Enache, 27, is an architect. She got the MSc degree in Architecture, Building and Planning at the Technical University of Eindhoven, the Netherlands. after completing a Bachelor of Architecture in Bucharest, Romania and 1 year of exchange in Ljubljana, Slovenia. While working for three different architecture studios in Amsterdam, Ramona designed and developed POINTER, getting her inspiration from the western custom of drinking in the parks.
Wine has always been a part of Ramona’s life, as her entire family has been producing home made wine for many ages. Growing up surrounded by the vineyards of her grandparents, Ramona took part in every stage of wine making, from planting young vines and watching the grapes grow, to the crushing process and the fermentation phases. Tasting from each barrel might not have been wise at a younger age, but clearly helped her refine her taste.
After succeeding to transform her passion into a successful product, Ramona wishes to take POINTER further and further, along with her passion for wine and wine travel. At the same time, Ramona wishes to pursue her interests for product design and keep developing other innovative ideas that keep her awake at night. At the moment, Ramona is currently living in Berlin, using the scholarship Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs in order to learn how to work with leather.
POINTER is a collective result of those that have supported Ramona and her project throughout the past years: family, friends, fellow designers, engineers, publications, clients, former bosses, colleagues and random people in the park.
